Thursday: Drive to Wiscasset, pick up Mom and Dad, head back to Portland to see the Official Irish Rock Band of the Jason Family, the Saw Doctors. Mo is in his first week of Rugby practice at St. John's Prep, so he missed what would have been somewhere around his 88th show.
Somehow Mom finagled front row seats in the VIP Lounge for us. The seats were incredible, we had waitress service (to keep DickieJ in PBR Pounders...) and Mom didn't have to worry about tall people dancing in front of her obscuring her view of the lads.
Arriving back in Wiscasset at 1AM was no detriment to Dad and I getting up in the morning and heading to the Camden Snow Bowl to get a morning of skiing in. We had sensational weather, no crowds and a beautiful view of the ocean and the islands. Realized that it's been way too long since we've been skiing. No excuse.

Of course, we had to stop at Wasse's famous Hot Dogs in Rockland on the way back to Wiscasset. My plain dog with ketchup (I know, lame...) was as good as I remember from when we had our summer house just down the road in Owl's Head. Dickie's two-with-onions-and-mustard got rave reviews as well. A nice reward for our efforts on the mountain!
