February!

Where did it go? We had a fun and interesting month, that's for sure.

We skied at Sunapee with Mike (aka Bode Miller) and Sarah.

Mo went to Florida to visit clients. I came along, chasing the sun. It was rainy and cold. Ahem.
Here we are just outside of "Paris" after a gorgeous Bistro lunch.

As a birthday surprise, the resort upgraded us to a two-story concierge cottage. It was adorable.

In the "Small World" department -- this print was over the bed.

While Mo was taking his clients to play golf, I enjoyed the (freezing) sunshine and rode a few rides.

Mike Eruzione was staying at the same resort as us in Florida. I combed that place like I was a paparazzi working for TMZ, but never found him. We thought of him (and his teammates) when we got all amped up for the US vs. Canada hockey game.

We tried to get Joe to believe that Uncle Sam costumes were mandatory, but he didn't buy it. Mike and I were clearly in the spirit.

And then came the storm. The most house-shaking, window-rattling, wind-whistling, eerie-sounding, breath-holding piece of nature that I've ever experienced. When the roof pictured below hit the back of the house, it scared the beeeee-jesus out of me. (Mo? Didn't skip a snoring beat.) It bulls-eyed right between the kitchen window and the patio doors, and merely bent the patio light fixture off of the wall. Kismet. I'd like to think of it as karmic payoff for the efforts to attain my 2010 goal: relentless positivity.

Speaking of, I'm positive that I didn't need this sign to spell it out for me on Newman Road by Old Town Hill.

In other positive developments, this hugegantic tree was quite literally hanging out on our neighbors' roof after being uprooted in the storm. It was brought down via crane and tree service without doing any significant damage. Unreal!

On to March!
