Jason and Jessica were up from Washington, DC for some R&R at Jessica's parents place on Squam Lake. They took a day trip down with their lovely pup Gracie and we cavorted all over Newburyport. We had to stop at the airfield, as Jason is flying now and is scaring the hell out of Jessica threatening to buy a plane. She just wants a new kitchen. I see her side. Boys.
We met Mo's parents at the marina in New Castle for a lovely dinner on the hottest day of the year. It was so hot that someone dining outside on the deck had to be taken out of the restaurant on a stretcher due to heatstroke. Eek!
Ellen seems happy to be celebrating her birthday in New Hampshire and Mike seems to be at peace with our insistence on eating in the air-conditioned dining room!
