We decided to throw a little Mardi Gras bash, seeing as tomorrow is Fat Tuesday. There may have been a game or something on the TV, but I really can't recall. Anyway, we made Jambalaya, Muffuletta, Hurricanes and Hand Grenades. Mike made his specialty Cocktail Shrimp dip as well as Spicy Shrimp Scampi and was kind enough to lend us his chafing dish.
We have such great memories of all of our vacations to New Orleans, and can't wait to go back!

Nicole and Joe arrived, and brought Nic's World Famous Football Field Cake. The details, as always, were incredible! The chocolate-covered-pretzel-stick goalposts were over the top!
TimmyJ and Kristina arrived with Red Beans and Rice and Six Layer Dip, not to mention big smiles and lots of laughs.
Joe attempted some NOLA style voodoo on the NY Giants Gummy Bears, unfortunately we didn't see any corresponding results.
Congratulations to the Giants on a well-played game. Now I'm sticking my head back in the sand.
