Mom and Dad had rented the Duckling Cottage, so a trip to the Cape was in order to do some maintenance, clean-up and preparation. I met up with Suzy and the girls at Derby Street on my way down, and we had the most fabulous afternoon of shopping and giggling and lunching.

We got to work right away -- me cleaning, Dad painting, Timmy on picket fence duty. Mom was getting some R&R in Wiscasset...
After. (Jealous. Want shelves like that.)
I found one of my old Cabbage Patch Kids. This is Kirk Guy. He must have eaten his brother Ellis Kenny or something, because he was nowhere to be found.

It was three days of work, but the place looked fantastic. So good, that none of us wanted it to be rented anymore... Love the Duckling!
We celebrated a job well done with a gorgeous night in Woods Hole at the Captain Kidd.

Anthony was going to be a fireman for Halloween, but when his dad came home the night before with an old Patriots uniform we had in our decorating bins, there was a quick change of plans... So cute!
We had our annual Field Goal kicking contest in Maine over Dad's birthday weekend. I failed entirely, Dad hit a 20 yarder on his 71st birthday, and Mo and Timmy went to a kick-off...
And there, at the arrow, is the exact muddy spot on the crossbar that ALL THREE of Timmy's kick-off kicks hit and clanged off, handing Mo his 2nd Jason Family Field Goal Kicking Championship.
We had an awesome afternoon at Merrimack College for the Union College hockey game. There was a good turnout of Union supporters, old friends and new alike, and we even got our pal Andy to join us at the last minute. He got the absolute last ticket before it was declared a sell-out, and it shows. Here he is in what we coined the Numpty Seat. We had a blast, saw a great game and Union came out in the end with a W. Good times.
