We woke up on Thursday to a lashing rain storm and, knowing that this is the day that Mike and Ellen are moving their life's belongings into the townhouse they will temporarily call home, worried that the weather would present a challenge. But when we rolled into The Pinehills the 2nd of 3 trucks was halfway unloaded without so much as an issue -- rain, shmain.
The biggest test of the day came when Mo and his Dad attempted to hook the stereo up. I call this picture "playing Legos." (As of this writing, stereo still not hooked up...)
We got a ton accomplished, and after just one day created a very livable home. There is still, and probably will be for some time, lots more to unpack and organize -- but aside from passing papers on the Salisbury property on November 1, they've got plenty of time to get to it! We toasted their arrival to Massachusetts at a lovely dinner at the Golf Club, and are looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with the whole family in just a few weeks...
